PUNCHBOWL PRESCHOOL

New build preschool on a corner site in Sydney's Punchbowl. Featuring a hit-and-miss brick screen protecting an first floor playground. Referencing the brick construction of the suburb matched with the back yard addition, the project is a preschool in two parts wrapped by a backyard playground.

Adaptive reuse of "Newmarket House" in Randwick, the project involves the construction of a purpose-built preschool that wraps around and incorporates the heritage house into a unique location in the heart of a dense redevelopment.
